The original install from NCR was quite bare from what I remember. From what NCR tells me, they never imagined anyone ever doing RDP into the server for any purpose, so they stuck to keeping the system compatible with the older Windows NT based software. But by doing that, it limits the flexibility of a 64 bit CPU and greater than 4GB RAM support. I'm still looking at system resources and turned off a few non-essential NCR system services to see how the system responds. The services identified relate to checkout lane re-imaging services that are constantly running, but never used until a terminal gets corrupted and needs a re-image.
As for fraps.exe, I do not see it anywhere on our system.
