DELL-Rey GDell guys, we should note that if the customer installs 2012, it is my understanding that issues that arise from running that OS on this system with that controller wont be supported, is that correct?
I wouldn't go so far as to say it would not be supported. We will do our best to troubleshoot any issues that may arise, but there is only so far we can go. We cannot escalate issues with unsupported/invalidated equipment, so the issue will not go beyond front line support. Since the S100 is a driver based controller I would be hesitant of using an invalidated driver.
